Our Maintenance options

Asset Management

The most important reason for establishing a roof maintenance program is to protect the capital investment of a new or current roof system. Proper roof maintenance will not only add years of life to a roof, it will also uncover problems before a roof leak penetrates into the insulation and creates mold and damages the interior of the building. One of the short-sighted ruts that building owners have gotten themselves into is waiting to long to implement any kind of a proactive roof maintenance and management program. This only reduces the full potential life of their roof system. Roof inspections are also necessary to maintain the roofing warranties. The manufacture may require proof of regular maintenance so that the warranty duration and coverage remains intact.

Weatherguard Roof Maintenance Inspection Program

Weatherguard's Roof Maintenance Inspection Program is a service that provides roof - maintenance inspections on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. Preventative maintenance to your buildings roof system will and help keep you informed of the condition of your roof and to help prevent leaks before they happen.

Roof systems undergo many movements that affect the performance such as thermal expansion andcontraction and weathering (sun, rain, wind, snow). Because of these movements, details such as wall flashings, roof related sheet metal and skylights and debris at roof drains and gutters develop gaps that allow water to migrate into the roofing system. Often, this migration goes undetected due to it being absorbed into the insulation or decking and does not leak into the interior of the building. This absorption then causes damage to the roof components and the possibility of mold developing inside the roof system.
